The 3 Pillars

These are the foundations of EVERYTHING

PHYSICAL

Don't worry! I'm not about to tell you that you can only eat green things that are 100% organic -although incorporating some of those in your diet might be helpful!

Our bodies do need to be taken care of though, since we need them to do, well, pretty much everything in our day to day lives.

Just like your car needs it's fluids, filters, brakes and shocks adjusted/replaced, your body also requires maintenance. I'm not going to ask you to rebuild your engine yet, but there are a few key activities that you'll easily be able to integrate into your life, which will not only make you feel better in the moment, but will open the pathway to the other two pillars and allow you to make real lasting changes in your life.

EMOTIONAL

It's easy today to get pulled in multiple directions at the same time. Many of us are constantly thinking about the next thing or things we have to do, which leads to anxiety, which can lead to depression, and if not addressed burn-out.

Together we'll incorporate mindfulness techniques that you can perform daily, which will keep you feeling focused, less anxious and ready to take on the demands of life.

Just as with the physical portion, I'm not going to ask you to dedicate hours a day on esoteric practices, that you may or may not be interested in. We will incorporate simple, practical and easy to apply techniques, which when consistently performed will transform your life profoundly.

SPIRITUAL

This is a big one and something missing from many people's lives today.

Many people think that spirituality IS religion, and while it can be, that is only one of many possible definitions. Spirituality is also commonly referred to as 'connection to something larger than oneself'. You don't have to believe in God, Jesus or any other name that's been given by religious organizations. However, we will discuss other ways in which secular spirituality can become a part of your life, as this helps to anchor you in everything else that we practice.

What to Expect

1:1 Sessions:

  • Establish what it is you are looking to work on (this can be one goal/trait/attitude/etc. or multiple)

  • Work together to identify limiting belief patterns, remove them and replace them with patterns that align with your goals

  • Create new habits (or modify existing ones) that will help to reinforce everything we work on

  • Help you create an actionable plan to achieve the result(s) you are looking for, and setting guideposts on that plan to help you navigate the path even if it gets tough

  • Individual assignments! You thought you were done with homework, haha. Not to worry, these aren't hard, but they are going to be very beneficial in helping you employ everything we work on in our sessions together. After all, we're breaking patterns that may have been with you for many years, and the only way to overwrite those patterns is through consistent practice

Feelings/Emotions:

You may -and probably will- feel out of your comfort zone at times. This is what we want. We stay in patterns, because they are known and they are comfortable, which is why they've formed into lasting patterns. We NEED to get rid of those patterns and that, at times, can and will cause you to be uncomfortable. I will never ask you to do anything that would cause you physical or emotional harm, but I will ask you to look at those old patterns that have been preventing you from realizing the thing that you want, and ask you to be uncomfortable while we re-write the patterns you consciously choose, for the life that you choose.

Depending on what you want to work on, we may encounter some heavy emotions. Even if not, you may find as we work through these old thought patterns, something that triggers a deep seeded emotion and causes a reaction from you. This is totally OK, and it's actually very healthy. Know that this is a completely safe space. Anything that we work on stays between you and me, and is strictly confidential (as you'll see in my T&Cs), unless you discuss committing physical harm to yourself or others, in which I have a duty of care to inform the appropriate parties, because I only want the best for you and those in your circle.
